The station will transform travel in the north of Chelmsford. It will ease pressure on the city’s existing train station and reduce car journeys into the city centre. Run by Greater Anglia, passengers can travel from north Chelmsford to London Liverpool Street in 40 minutes and Colchester in 25 minutes.
