We were allocated £1,799,829 towards the design and construction of South Mayne signalised crossing in Basildon which is part of the Basildon cycling and walking route 2. The funding also enabled us to make walking and cycling improvements on Wenders Road in Saffron Waldon, Rectory Lane in Loughton and St Andrew’s Avenue and Whitehorn Close in Greenstead, Colchester.
Two design-only schemes were worked on: a segregated cycle track between Bruff Close and the Albert Roundabout and the North Essex Greenway (Earls Colne to Coggeshall).
